So there we were fleeing Troy, as if that wasn't bad enough already, when all of a sudden a storm comes out of nowhere! I immediately jump into action plugging holes and start bailing out water. I look over my shoulder for just a second and see Aeneas just standing there shouting into the air like an idiot. Right as it begins to look like the end the seas spontaneously calm, in an almost unnatural way. We immediately head to shore in order to regain our bearings and repair our 7 remaining ships. We begin working on our ships, and yet again, instead of actually helping Aeneas give some spiel about what we've been through, as if we didn't already know. Then he runs off into the forest to hunt some food. Then he tells me to follow him into the forest, even though we have no Idea where we are. This man is so foolish, truly the gods must be protecting him otherwise he would die by his own sword. We meet this cute hunter girl in the woods and then head to Carthage, where we head to the Shrine of Juno and meet with Dido. The whole time Aeneas is just kind of staring at this door. Then Dido starts flirting with him, although he's too dumb to notice, and he starts rambling about war stories. IDK why I follow this guy, but you have to give him credit, he sure is lucky.

Wow, your Achates is HARSH on Aeneas! With friends like these, who needs enemies? I like the angle of them as "frenemies" though, so don't drop it. That will give you the opportunity to criticize Aeneas' actions throughout your blogs. Don't get too stuck on Aeneas though. Let Achates be more self-centered and interested in his own role in this. That will enable you to more full reflect on the question at hand. I look forward to your 2nd installment!
